Jared Mellick

Jared's passion in the industry began at a young age, when he and his father founded their own roofing business in 1993. Certified as a Florida State General, Residential, Building and Roofing Contractor, Haag Certified Roof Inspector and Wind Mitigation Inspector, Jared took his knowledge to court. In 1996, he participated as an expert witness, and did his first trial as an expert in 1999.

In 2008, Jared assumed the primary leadership role as company President of Universal Roof and Contracting, and in 2018 he started Mellick & Associates. Currently, he owns Renewal by Andersen of Florida, a custom window and door branch of Andersen Corporation, Universal Roof and Contracting, a residential roofing company, and Mellick Construction, a general construction and commercial builder.   Jared also authored in 2007 the home improvement book, In the House: Answers to Common Home Improvement Problems, and has been featured in numerous publications, including Success Magazine and Orlando Business Journal.  From the company founders to each member of our growing team, personal integrity and high standards are paramount.
